I am concerned that I'm developing a bad habit. Since pre-finals at the close of this semester, I've been functioning off 4 to 5 hours of sleep a day. Granted, functioning is probably an overstatement but you get what i mean. At any rate, my mere 4 to 5 hours are now beginning to take its toll on me-- sad to say that this morning i woke up with the dreaded red eye. I know what you're thinking-- "Dramatic much?!"-- but the truth is, the red eye has haunted me since my childhood. Back in Memphis, where i was raised as a youth, allergens were at an all time high i suppose, for my eyes had been reddened with irritation for weeks at a time. Needless to say, people began to talk-- Pot heads began to inquire about my supposed "supply" and nerds greeted me with empathy (apparently they thought i was one of them haha). Perhaps the most comical of observations was that i had "Christmas eyes", for my green eyes were wrought with an irritated red, daily. In short, I hate red eyes, the end. I just noticed that it's 1:17am and i have to wake up at 7am--Laker Parade. Looks like I should call it a night!
