At the Sheaves for Christ Benefit Concert, Lowell Anderson Preached a brief but powerful message on Christians and their destiny. He claimed that many Christians backslide because they are not patient in the promises of God. Lowell encouraged the youth that those promises are "delayed but not denied." In other words, we should be assured that God has nothing but good intentions for us; everything that He has promised us will come to pass if we are steadfast in His Love and obedient to His word. Though David was anointed to be king as a teen, he was sent back to watch the sheep; It wasn't until later that he assume the role as king.
As Christians, Let's be mindful of the promises of God. Let's continue to walk in the path that Jesus has set before each of us.
Thank You Jetaime for the compliment, i truly appreciate that! such kind words haha

Definitely true! I think many Christians get caught up backsliding or whatever because living in this world (although we are not of this world) is still hard for many Christians especially at the age we are now. We're so used to the media telling us we want something now, fast, in a hurry, fast results like weight loss pills etc...but I love that saying, "Delayed but not denied"....we do have keep hold of Gods promises and word otherwise the "World" is just going to eat us up.
