The voice is arguably the greatest tool of influence known to man. We've seen the many paradigm shifts in history -- the American Revolution, Nazi Germany's reign, Civil Rights Movement, etc.-- and the voice remains the key component to every great movement, whether it be good or bad. Surely, just as the bible says, "death and life are in the power of the tongue..."(Proverbs 18:21). In other words, one has the power to speak either life or death-- constructive or destructive words-- into one's own life, into another person's life, or into the world at large. The voice is truly a powerful tool and one should not use it carelessly. However, with the billions of people who populated our planet, there are many voices that confront us, many of which
contradict each other. So how do we decipher which voices to listen to and which to dismiss? The answer is simple: you know a tree by its fruits (see Luke 6:44).
First off, as Christians, we should be bearing good fruit such as love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control, etc (see Galatians 5:22-23) according to the Holy Spirit. If we don't bear these fruits, we are not walking in the Spirit. Furthermore, if we're not walking in the Spirit, we are none of His (see Romans 8:9)

Second, as Christians it is our responsibility to use our voice--singular because each individual Christian's voice should reflect the one voice of Christ-- in order to impact a godless world. Evangelism; outreach; telling the world about the Gospel of Jesus Christ -- this has to be the unrelenting purpose of the Church. How can they know if we don't tell them?
It's time to take the Church outside of the church building. We must help save the world with our voice.
